Article Abstract

Radiotherapy is an indispensable treatment modality in the management of rhabdomyosarcoma. Numerous efforts have been made to improve outcomes. The current thinking and future developments in the radiation oncology field about how to raise cure rates, especially in the highest-risk patients, are presented.

Non-ST elevation myocardial infarction with multivessel disease and anoxic brain injury: a case report.

A 71-year-old black male with a history of hypertension, dyslipidemia, type 2 diabetes, history of bladder cancer status-post resection now in remission, history of multiple transient ischemic attacks, and coronary artery disease (CAD) presented with non-exertional substernal chest pain radiating to the left arm, accompanied by shortness of breath and nausea. Initial evaluation revealed elevated troponins and nonspecific electrocardiogram changes, consistent with non-ST elevation myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography demonstrated severe multivessel disease, including critical left main stenosis.

Objective: This scoping review explores existing clinical guidelines on administration of benzathine benzylpenicillin (Bicillin L-A, Pfizer Australia) in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The objective is to understand existing delivery guidance to address variation in care and cultural safety considerations, to support messaging during periods of stockout and to inform planning for new administration techniques.
