Article Abstract

We report, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, an electrochemiluminescent (ECL) immunosensor for the imaging analysis of prostate-specific antigen, using aggregation-induced-emission-active polymer dots (Pdots) as emitters. Assisted by rolling circle amplification, the immunosensor exhibits high sensitivity, with a low detection limit of 4.2 pg mL. This work demonstrates the potential of AIE-active Pdots in clinical applications.
