Background: Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a frequent manifestation of connective tissue diseases (CTDs) and is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Clinical practice guidelines to standardise screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for CTD-ILD are of high importance for optimised patient care.
Methods: A European Respiratory Society and European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology task force committee, composed of pulmonologists, rheumatologists, pathologists, radiologists, methodologists and patient representatives, developed recommendations based on PICO (Patients, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes) questions with grading of the evidence according to the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluations) methodology and complementary narrative questions agreed on by both societies.

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic autoimmune disease with multi-organ involvement. Historically, SSc classification has focused on the type of skin involvement (limited versus diffuse); however, a growing evidence of organ-specific variability suggests the presence of more than two distinct subtypes. We propose a semi-supervised generative deep learning framework leveraging expert-driven definitions of organ-specific involvement and severity.

Coatings made up of Inulin (Inu) and Eudragit RS (ERS) have been used in the past in colon specific drug delivery systems. In the present study, we investigated the correlation between manufacturing conditions (spraying process and solid content of the film-forming system) and the permeability and the microstructure of Inu-ERS films. The solid content of the polymer dispersion, atomization air pressure, feed rate and bed temperature were investigated by a full factorial design.

: Gastric cancer (GC) is a highly heterogeneous disease and remains one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. The vast majority of GC cases are adenocarcinomas including diffuse and intestinal GC that may differ in their incidence between Asian and non-Asian cohorts. The intestinal-subtype GC has declined over the past 50 years.
