Introduction: Preventive measures have been implemented in hospitals during COVID-19, but how these guidelines affected mental health among healthcare workers (HCWs) remains to be determined. On another note, reliable psychological and blood-based markers are needed to promptly identify HCWs at-risk to develop distress. Objective: The study aims to explore how emotional distress is affected by childhood trauma through pathways involving alexithymia and psychological flexibility, and to construct a complete model established on this foundation, which will be provided as a theoretical theory for interventions in college students' mental health.
Methods: Note that 1002 college students were assessed using Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21), the 20-item Toronto alexithymia scale (TAS-20), and Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2nd Edition (AAQ-II). After removing some non-compliant questionnaires, the remaining 885 were used for data analysis.

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the morale of healthcare professionals, including nursing faculty and staff. To address this, a college of nursing developed a Gratitude Team to boost morale and create a supportive work environment. Gratitude enhances an individual's sense of value while fostering loyalty, job satisfaction, retention, performance, collaboration, creativity, well-being, and leadership development.

Shigella is a Gram-negative, facultative intracellular, gastric acid-resistant bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, which includes four serogroups: Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella sonnei, Shigella flexneri, and Shigella boydii. Globally, shigellosis is the most common cause of invasive bloody diarrhoea in children younger than 5 years. Humans are the only natural reservoir and an inoculum of only 10-100 organisms is required for infection.
