Aim: To explore the experiences of patients, families and clinicians managing steroid-induced hyperglycaemia (SIH) out of the hospital and identify areas for improved care.

Methods: We searched hospital records to identify patients requiring input from the diabetes inpatient team between February 2022 and March 2023 due to steroid usage. Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is an epithelial cell-derived cytokine that plays a crucial role in the pathophysiology of asthma, initiating multiple allergic cascade responses. Tezepelumab is the only monoclonal antibody currently approved for marketing, which acts by blocking TSLP binding to TSLPR. However, it is reported that a TSLP trap which simultaneously block TSLP binding with TSLPR and IL-7Rα has better efficiency in the repression of TSLP signal pathway.

Aim: Vygotsky's social constructivist educational pedagogy as a way for registered nurses who teach to build psychologically safe and socially just learning environments for 'in practice' registered nurses with specific learning disorders.

Background: As a supportive educational brief, specific learning disorders, its occurrence in nursing, factors potentially having an impact on those with a specific learning disorder and what constitutes safe and just learning environments are outlined.
