Article Abstract
During July 2022-February 2023, mpox was confirmed in 71 of 283 suspected cases in the Dominican Republic; 32.4% of patients were women, and 22.5% children <10 years of age. We found differences in transmission compared with global trends, emphasizing the need for continued surveillance, diagnostics, and public health interventions.

Background: Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) is one of the most common dermatoses affecting travellers to the tropics.
Objective: To describe demographic and travel correlates of travellers returning to Canada from the Caribbean with CLM over a 10-year pre-pandemic period.
Methods: Demographic and travel-related data on ill travellers encountered either during or after completion of their travel/migration and seen in any of eight CanTravNet sites from January 1, 2009, to December 31, 2018, with a final diagnosis of CLM were extracted and analyzed.

Background And Objectives: Single-session stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) has limited role for large arteriovenous malformations (AVM). Volume-staged SRS (VS-SRS) is used to optimize outcomes, but studies reporting results are limited.
Methods: This multicenter retrospective cohort of 378 patients from 21 centers reports results of VS-SRS for the entire AVM nidus.

Early onset prostate cancer (EOPC; defined herein as prostate cancer [PCa] affecting men ≤ 55 years-old) tends to show low histologic grade, likely representing early detection of indolent tumors that would otherwise be diagnosed later in life. A small subset of EOPC exhibits Gleason scores consistent with high-risk disease (Grade Groups 4 to 5; high-grade EOPC [HG-EOPC] hereafter). In this study, we assess the clinicopathologic features of HG-EOPC, with genomic analysis of ERG-negative cases.

This article is based on the results of archival research in 20 century Hungary concerning the practices and consequences of state policing of homosexuality under state socialism. Two cases will be examined in detail. One is related to the court case of a Catholic priest caught performing homosexual acts, whose testimonies were intended to be used by the secret services to compromise other members of the clergy.
