As the second most common cause of death globally, tumor significantly impacts human health and quality of life. Although monotherapy has achieved remarkable progress, its therapeutic effectiveness remains less than ideal. The current strategy is increasingly inclined towards a combination of different treatments.

This critique identifies methodological flaws in the analysis of hydrogen sulfide adsorption on a zeolite adsorbent, as reported by Asman [, 2024, , 20409-20426]. Key concerns include fundamental errors in the formulation of both the Temkin adsorption isotherm and the Weber-Morris intraparticle diffusion model, along with inconsistencies in thermodynamic calculations. These flaws undermine the reliability of the study's findings and diminish its contribution to hydrogen sulfide adsorption research.

Ribosome recycling is a fundamental biological process crucial for cellular health. Defective recycling disrupts ribosome biogenesis and organelle function, particularly in mitochondria, contributing to ribosomopathies, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. While not directly linked to human diseases via known genetic mutations, emerging evidence suggests a critical interplay between ribosome recycling and organelle quality control.

Advancing diagnostic stewardship in contemporary medical practice.

Diagnosis (Berl)

Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine, 59053 National University Hospital, Singapore.

Over-testing, or the inappropriate use of diagnostic tests, is a highly prevalent phenomenon in modern medical practice, driven by a variety of physician, patient/disease, practice environment and system-related factors. Most of the time, physician proclivities to over-investigate fundamentally reflects a flawed clinical reasoning process under real-world practice conditions. Over the years, various educational campaigns and interventions such as the programme have been attempted to varying success, without clear evidence of a sustained reduction in the excessive/inappropriate use of diagnostic tests in clinical practice.

In this study, C- and Ce-doped ZnO materials were synthesized by two methods: hydrothermal method (CCZ-HT) and microwave method (CCZ-MA), both using the same starting materials. The different heating stages of the methods produce distinct morphologies, doping concentrations, and some other characteristics. CCZ-HT consists of nanoellipsoids, while CCZ-MA consists of nanoflakes.
