Background: Organic chemicals have been known to cause allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma and hypersensitivity pneumonitis; however, the possibility that they do not cause irreversible pulmonary fibrosis has not been considered. Polyacrylic acid (PAA), an organic chemical, has caused irreversible progressive pulmonary fibrosis in exposed workers, indicating its potential to induce pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis. Although intratracheal instillation studies are commonly used for evaluating lung pathology, traditional methods face challenges with chemical substances, particularly nanoparticles, which tend to aggregate in suspension and prevent uniform pulmonary distribution.

Background: Each year, approximately 100 million cases of bee and wasp stings are re-ported globally, with the majority resulting in mild reactions. However, in rarer instances, these stings can lead to severe and potentially fatal outcomes, including ischemic or hemorrhagic cerebral events. This article aims to synthesize and analyze the current evidence on the association between bee and wasp stings and the occurrence of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.

Background: The global increase in diabetes mellitus has been accompanied by a significant rise in related complications. Diabetic patients frequently experience ocular surface disorders and multiple studies have demonstrated that the diabetic corneal epithelium is characterized by increased cellular fragility and compromised barrier integrity. It has been demonstrated that the processes of oxidative stress and inflammation are pivotal in causing ocular tissue damage in diabetic patients.
