Nitrogen is crucial for plant growth, but deficiency and excess can harm plants. Fertilizers like Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), which releases ammonium (NH), are common, yet over-application can cause NH toxicity, resulting in stunted roots and leaf damage. This study investigated the impact of NH toxicity on strawberry growth, yield, and fruit quality to inform better fertilization practices. The experiment was conducted at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Five treatments with varying DAP rates (0 g, 4 g, 7 g, 10 g, and 13 g per plant) were applied to strawberry plants in a completely randomized design with four replications. Photosynthetic pigments, hydrogen peroxide (HO), malondialdehyde (MDA), electrolyte leakage (EL), and yield parameters were measured. The 4 g DAP treatment yielded the highest chlorophyll-a (0.5775 mg/g FW) and total chlorophyll content (0.705 mg/g FW). However, increasing DAP doses led to a decline in chlorophyll-a, chlorophyll-b, and total chlorophyll content, with the 13 g DAP treatment exhibiting the lowest levels. HO content increased with higher DAP doses, with the 13 g DAP treatment showing the highest value (75 µmol/g FW). Higher DAP doses also increased MDA content and EL, indicating oxidative stress and membrane damage. The 4 g DAP treatment showed minimal changes in HO and MDA content. Moderate DAP levels (4 g per plant) enhanced strawberry growth, yield, and photosynthetic activity, while higher doses caused significant stress, leading to reduced growth and yield. Managing NH levels in fertilization is crucial for optimizing strawberry production. Therefore, moderate doses of DAP (ammonium ion) should be used to avoid ammonium toxicity.

IO-202 is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 monoclonal antibody with high affinity and specificity for leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4 (LILRB4; ILT3), which is predominantly expressed in monocytes and monocytic blasts. IO-202 induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis in vitro and in patients with leukemia. Herein, we present the phase 1a dose escalation data of IO-202 as monotherapy and in combination with azacitidine (AZA) in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and R/R chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), and the phase 1b dose expansion data of IO-202 combined with AZA for the treatment of hypomethylating agent (HMA)-naïve CMML.

Background & Aims: Previous studies showed that combination treatment with short interfering RNA JNJ-73763989 (JNJ-3989) ± capsid assembly modulator bersacapavir (JNJ-56136379) and nucleos(t)ide analogs (NAs) was well tolerated by patients with chronic HBV (CHB), with JNJ-3989 dose-dependent reductions in viral markers, including HBsAg. The open-label, single-arm phase IIa PENGUIN study (NCT04667104) evaluated this regimen plus pegylated interferon alpha-2a (PegIFN-α2a) in patients with virologically suppressed CHB.
Methods: Patients who were either HBeAg-positive or -negative virologically suppressed and taking NAs were included; all received JNJ-3989 ± bersacapavir for 24 weeks (some either did not start or discontinued bersacapavir as a result of protocol amendment) with PegIFN-α2a added during the final 12 weeks of treatment.

Purpose / Introduction: The BLINDED FOR REVIEW trial investigated the maximum tolerated dose for ultracentral lung tumors treated with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). Here we report a spatial and dosimetric secondary analysis of the treatment plans and assess relationships between doses to targets, organs-at-risk (OARs) and clinical outcomes.
Material And Methods: Five institutions enrolled patients with ultracentral lung cancer, cT1-3N0M0, and all received 60 Gy in 8 fractions.

The transradial approach (TRA) is gaining popularity in neuroendovascular therapy due to its safety and patient comfort, but its application in emergency settings with complex vascular anatomy remains technically demanding. This study assessed the feasibility and safety of using the 6 Fr FUBUKI XF long guiding sheath-a non-radial-specific device-for neuroendovascular procedures via TRA. Nineteen consecutive patients treated with the FUBUKI XF long guiding sheath between April 2024 and June 2025 were retrospectively reviewed and compared with a small cohort treated using the radial-specific Rist guiding sheath during the same period.

A major shortcoming of this field, however, is the lack of suitable translational research models to identify and understand the underlying mechanisms of these predictive biomarkers in human populations. In particular, we lack a system which, like humans, is genetically variable, lives in diverse environments, and experiences aging-related chronic conditions treated in the context of a sophisticated health care system.
