The emergence of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccines as an alternative platform to traditional vaccines has been accompanied by advances in nanobiotechnology, which have improved the stability and delivery of these vaccines through novel nanoparticles (NPs). Specifically, the development of NPs for mRNA delivery has facilitated the loading, protection and release of mRNA in the biological microenvironment, leading to the stimulation of mRNA translation for effective intervention strategies. Intriguingly, two mRNA vaccines, BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna), have been permitted for emergency usage authorization to prevent COVID-19 infection by USFDA.

Background: Children with conduct problems vary considerably in how they respond to behavioral interventions. Although group-based, child-focused programs are increasingly implemented, research still relies on retrospective parent or teacher reports and group-level outcomes. These traditional approaches often obscure individual differences in treatment response and reduce the potential for individualized behavioral support tailored to each child's unique profile.

Gender's influence on health outcomes is well-documented, yet gaps in gender expertise persist within the global health workforce. Simultaneously, accessible and interactive gender training opportunities are limited. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Gender and Health Summer Institute (GHSI), launched in 2023, aims to address these gaps by advancing the gender integration and analysis skills of health professionals.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection poses significant challenges in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients, impacting graft outcomes, morbidity, and in some cases survival. The ESOT CMV Workshop 2023 convened European experts to discuss current practices and advances in the management of CMV with the aim of improving the quality of life of transplant recipients. Discussions covered crucial areas such as preventive strategies, diagnostic challenges, therapeutic approaches, and the role of cell-mediated immunity (CMI) monitoring.

For nearly 350 years, the process of disseminating scientific knowledge has remained largely unchanged. Scientists conduct experiments, analyze the data, and publish their findings in the form of scientific articles. Since the turn of the century, this process has been challenged by numerous open science and data sharing efforts to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and replicability of scientific research.
