Chronic non-bacterial osteomyelitis (CNO) is an inflammatory bone disease, usually diagnosed in childhood. It is characterized by the presence of multifocal or unifocal osteolytic lesions that can cause bone pain and soft tissue swelling. CNO is known to have soft tissue involvement. However, soft tissue involvement large enough to give the appearance of a mass is rare. This article discusses a case of CNO with a mass-like appearance that involved soft tissue and spontaneously regressed, as well as presents CNO cases with soft tissue involvement and conducts a literature review on this subject. Our investigation revealed that edema and synovitis were the most frequently observed soft tissue involvements in association with CNO. Moreover, we also encountered myositis, a mass-like appearance, neuritis, and polyserositis within the surrounding muscles. Although, it is well known that bone inflammation tends to regress spontaneously in CNO patients which reflects the autoinflammatory nature of the disease, there is no such patient whose soft tissue involvement which has mass like appearance improved spontaneously. Therefore, we aimed to emphasize the clinical progress which can be easily underdiagnosed of CNO patients by the clinicians by presenting unique features of our patient and our detailed literature review.

A digital workflow merging root submergence, immediate dental implant and definitive intermediate abutment placements, and custom healing abutment fabrication to enhance esthetic and biological outcomes in immediate implant procedures is described. The procedure involves a prosthetically driven plan on intraoral and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, digital planning using a specialized software program, the creation of a surgical guide, and the digital design of custom components. A 3-dimensionally (3D) printed healing abutment was produced by following specific protocols.

Statement Of Problem: Although custom temporomandibular joint (TMJ) prostheses manufactured via computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) and produced through 3-dimensional (3D) printing or computer numerical control (CNC) allow for sagittal curvature adjustments in the glenoid fossa, their design remains unregulated by the Food and Drug Administration. Consequently, the geometry is determined largely by the engineer's discretion, with limited biomechanical evidence to guide these decisions. The lack of validation regarding how sagittal curvature influences joint stress distribution under various anatomical and functional conditions represents a gap in current knowledge that warrants investigation.

The aim of this study is to describe a population pharmacokinetic model for intravenous ampicillin-sulbactam in awake and anaesthetized dogs in these two treatment scenarios and to compute PK/PD cut-offs (PK/PD). This was a prospective clinical trial in 20 client-owned dogs, either treated by ampicillin after post-surgical infection, or in the context of surgical antimicrobial prophylaxis. All animals received 20mg/kg of ampicillin by slow iv route.
