Classic radiological signs in imaging serve as visual clues that aid in narrowing the differential diagnosis and enhancing diagnostic confidence. This review article highlights key imaging signs encountered in hepatic pathology across multiple modalities including ultrasound, CT, and MRI. We explore some of the characteristic signs associated with hepatic neoplastic, infectious, vascular lesions, anatomicvariations and miscellaneous conditions, discussing their pathophysiology, diagnosticutility and clinical relevance.

Objectives: Bone scintigraphy is a sensitive imaging method to evaluate patients with suspected osteonecrosis. We assessed the diagnostic performance of combined bone single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) (CBS) in patients with known rheumatic disease or other connective tissue disorders and clinical suspicion of osteonecrosis compared to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Methods: This prospective diagnostic accuracy study included 70 patients with clinical suspicion of osteonecrosis in any bone who underwent a planar triple-phase bone scan along with a regional SPECT/CT (CBS) and regional MRI.

YAP/TAZ are transcriptional co-activators that pair with transcription factor TEA/ATTS domains (TEADs) for modulating the Hippo pathway. Previous works propose the potential role of YAP/TAZ phase separation for transcriptional activation, yet the biomolecular basis of endogenous YAP/TAZ-TEAD condensates remains unclear. Here, we dissect their endogenous morphology, revealing that YAP/TAZ are client proteins recruited to TEAD condensates in various human cell lines.

Nanomedicine has shown remarkable promise in advancing tumor imaging and therapy through its ability to achieve targeted delivery, precision imaging, and therapeutic efficacy. However, translating these preclinical successes into clinical practice remains fraught with challenges, including inconsistent tumor targeting, off-target organ accumulation, and a lack of comprehensive understanding of in vivo behavior of nanomedicines. In this perspective, the current state of nanomedicine research is critically analyzed, emphasizing the translational bottlenecks and offering a forward-looking view on potential solutions.
