Euglena sanguinea (Ehrenberg 1831) is one of the earliest reported species within the genus Euglena. Its prolific proliferation leading to red algal bloom has garnered significant scientific attention due to its ecological and environmental impacts. Despite this, research on E.

We introduce an efficient method, TTN-HEOM, for exactly calculating the open quantum dynamics for driven quantum systems interacting with highly structured bosonic baths by combining the tree tensor network (TTN) decomposition scheme with the bexcitonic generalization of the numerically exact hierarchical equations of motion (HEOM). The method yields a series of quantum master equations for all core tensors in the TTN that efficiently and accurately capture the open quantum dynamics for non-Markovian environments to all orders in the system-bath interaction. These master equations are constructed based on the time-dependent Dirac-Frenkel variational principle, which isolates the optimal dynamics for the core tensors given the TTN ansatz.

Unlabelled: Human adenoviruses (HAdVs) induce significant reorganization of the nuclear environment, leading to the formation of virus-induced subnuclear structures known as replication compartments (RCs). Within these RCs, viral genome replication, gene expression, and modulation of cellular antiviral responses are tightly coordinated, making them valuable models for studying virus-host interactions. In a recent study, we analyzed the protein composition of HAdV type 5 (HAdV-C5) RCs isolated from infected primary cells at different time points during infection using quantitative proteomics.

complex (MABC) is notoriously difficult to treat. Current guidelines suggest a 14-day-long incubation and/or sequencing of to detect inducible macrolide resistance. We assessed whether the evolution of minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) can reliably predict inducible macrolide resistance and clinical outcomes of extrapulmonary MABC infections.

Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), which induces an innate immune response against viral infections, is rarely detected in influenza A virus (IAV)-infected cells. Nevertheless, we previously reported that the influenza A viral ribonucleoprotein (vRNP) complex generates looped dsRNAs during RNA synthesis . This finding suggests that IAV possesses a specific mechanism for sequestering dsRNA within infected cells, thereby enabling viral evasion of the innate immune response.
