Congenital Pseudoarthrosis of the Tibia (CPT) is a rare disease with an incidence of one in 190,000 live births. Bilateral presentation is extremely rare, and very few case reports of bilateral CPT are mentioned worldwide. Bilateral CPT has added challenges to treatment. We here present a case report of a 4-year-old girl with bilateral CPT with Neurofibromatosis type-1 (NF-1) managed with '4 in 1 osteosynthesis' surgery of the right leg.

Introduction: It is unclear whether primary language impacts decision to pursue cochlear implantation (CI) and which factors seen in White patients may account for higher odds of implantation. The aim of this study was to further define factors that contribute to decision to pursue or decline cochlear implantation.
Methods: Retrospective chart review of patients older than 18 years who underwent cochlear implant evaluation (CPT 92626/92627), from January 1, 2017 to October 31, 2023 and were determined to be cochlear implantation candidates was completed.

Background: Dysregulated ventral prefrontal-subcortical networks are implicated in bipolar disorder, although how connectivity changes within these networks during the emergence and resolution of affective episodes is unclear. To address this knowledge gap, in this post-hoc study, we investigated longitudinal changes in prefrontal-subcortical connectivity during remission from mania in individuals with bipolar I disorder.
Methods: We followed 35 individuals with bipolar I disorder through eight weeks of treatment for a manic episode.

A novel composite patch osteosynthesis technique (CPT) has demonstrated promising ex vivo biomechanical performance in small tubular bones. To bridge the gap toward clinical evaluations, this study compared the stability of the CPT to a stainless-steel locking plate (LP) in an experimental in vivo ovine bilateral proximal phalanx fracture model. Eight sheep underwent a midline osteotomy with a 4.
