Objectives: EOS bi-planar imaging enables three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions of the spine and pelvis with segmental vertebral measurements in three planes from a neutral pelvis. This study evaluates the repeatability of these measurements and the accuracy in detecting true changes.

Methods: Twenty patients from four clinical backgrounds (surgical threshold, bracing threshold, micro-dose, and in-brace) were included.

Background: Trunk aesthetics is an important aim in treating adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). While subjective measures like the Scoliosis Research Society-22 questionnaire are commonly used, objective methods, such as the Trunk Aesthetic Clinical Evaluation (TRACE) index, are less explored. Non-invasive imaging techniques like rasterstereography (RST) have been studied to reduce radiographic exposure in AIS, though their correlation with Cobb angles remains weak.

Purpose: Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) affects a significant portion of the adolescent population, leading to severe spinal deformities if untreated. Diagnosis, surgical planning, and assessment of outcomes are determined primarily by the Cobb angle on anteroposterior spinal radiographs. Screening for scoliosis enables early interventions and improved outcomes.

Objectives: Clear, complete operative documentation is essential for surgical safety, continuity of care, and medico-legal standards. Large language models such as ChatGPT offer promise for automating clinical documentation; however, their performance in operative note generation, particularly in surgical subspecialties, remains underexplored. This study aimed to compare the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of operative notes authored by a surgical resident, attending surgeon, GPT alone, and an attending surgeon using GPT as a writing aid.

Monitoring the activity index of animals is crucial for assessing their welfare and behavior patterns. However, traditional methods for calculating the activity index, such as pixel intensity differencing of entire frames, are found to suffer from significant interference and noise, leading to inaccurate results. These classical approaches also do not support group or individual tracking in a user-friendly way, and no open-access platform exists for non-technical researchers.
