Introduction: Screw loosening remains a frequent mechanical complication in implant-supported prostheses, primarily caused by the gradual loss of abutment-screw preload. The aim of this study was to evaluate the mechanical performance of CAD-CAM custom and stock abutments by measuring removal torque values (RTV) at multiple time points and assessing surface morphology by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), following prolonged loading up to 2 × 10 cycles.

Methods: Forty-four implant-abutment assemblies with an internal conical-hex connection were divided into two groups: Stock abutments (SA) and custom abutments (CA).

Objective: This study aims to assess the safety and effectiveness of the Symmed radiofrequency (RF)-based device (Termosalud Inc., Gijón, Spain) in body contouring and skin appearance improvement treatments for abdomen/flanks.

Material And Methods: Eight sessions of Symmed RF were performed in 15 volunteers' abdomen/flanks.

As a bridge for human-machine interaction, the performance improvement of sensors relies on the in-depth understanding of ion transport mechanisms. This study focuses on the surface effect of resistive gel sensors and designs a polyacrylic acid/ferric ion hydrogel (PAA/Fe) gas flow sensor. Prepared by one-pot polymerization, PAA/Fe forms a three-dimensional network through the entanglement of crosslinked and uncrosslinked PAA chains, where the coordination between Fe and carboxyl groups endows the material with excellent mechanical properties (tensile strength of 80 kPa and elongation at break of 1100%).

Anaerobic digestion (AD) has long been valued for producing a biogas-digestate pair, yet its profitability is tightening. Next-generation AD biorefineries now position syngas both as a supplementary feedstock and as a springboard to capture high-value intermediates, hydrogen (H) and volatile fatty acids (VFA). This review dissects how complex natural consortia "decide" between hydrogenogenesis and acetogenesis when CO, H, and CO co-exist in the feedstocks, bridging molecular mechanisms with process-scale levers.

To explore the application value of right-opening single flap valvuloplasty based on tubular stomach in gastrointestinal reconstruction after laparoscopic proximal gastrectomy. Use a linear cutting stapler to make a parallel curve from the angle of the stomach to the junction of the gastric fundus to remove the lesser curvature of the stomach, and detach the gastric body about 5 cm away from the tumor to create a tubular stomach. Use a marker pen to draw a C-shaped seromuscular flap area with a width of 2.
