In response to the coal mining industry's high-risk nature and limitations of traditional accident analysis, this study constructs a multi-factor coupling analysis framework using 481 accident reports. Parsing unstructured text reveals 'core-periphery' structural characteristics in accident causation systems. Key contributions of the study are as follows: methodologically, it employs text mining to automate factor extraction and integrates social network analysis (SNA) to quantify node centrality and transmission intensity; theoretically, 18 core causations (e.

The most important functions of the auditory system are monitoring the acoustic environment for signals of danger and oral/auditory communication using language. During the typical evaluation of the auditory system, only cursory attention is focused on the communication aspect of hearing that usually consists of one list of 25 monosyllabic words presented by monitored-live voice to each ear in quiet at a suprathreshold presentation level (e.g.

Vigilance naturally drifts over time, coinciding with marked changes in brain-wide functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) signals. Though the precise origins of these hemodynamic changes are unclear, largely separate lines of research have linked different vigilance levels not only to changes in fMRI signal fluctuation amplitudes and functional connectivity, but also to significant variations in autonomic physiology. These findings raise the possibility that vigilance-related modulations in fMRI signals may arise in part from changes in autonomic physiology and their effects on cerebral hemodynamics.

Background: The human retina is integral to vision, converting light into neural signals through a complex interplay of specialized neuronal cell types. Recent proteomic studies have revealed significant insights into retinal function, yet much of the retina's proteome remains unexplored. Our research focuses on quantifying and characterizing intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) and regions (IDRs) within the retina and other ocular structures.
