Background: Nurses with research- and practice-focused doctorate degrees complement each other's work and contribute to the advancement of nursing profession. Understanding perceived scholarly collaboration and its influencing factors can facilitate effective teamwork, benefit the nursing profession, and improve patient outcomes.

Precursor plasma cell disorders include monoclonal gammopathy of undermined significance (MGUS) and smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM). These conditions carry a variable risk of progression to symptomatic myeloma and there are ongoing efforts to improve risk stratification to identify patients that are at highest risk of progression. Advanced imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosis and monitoring, and more sensitive tools to measure serum monoclonal proteins and circulating tumor cells are being developed.

Background: Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) represents a rare and unique type of lung tumor with an unfavorable prognosis. It is essential to summarize the treatment modalities and prognosis for inoperable stage III and IV LCNEC, explore the role of frontline immunotherapy, and examine the stratification role of the Lung Immune Prognostic Index (LIPI) and its relationship with the tumor microenvironment (TME).
Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed 160 patients with inoperable lung LCNEC (L-LCNEC) admitted to three hospitals from December 2012 to November 2023.
