In this investigation, our primary objective is to explore the structural, morphological, and electrical characteristics of BiBa(FeMn)O ceramic material synthesized by the sol-gel method. The prepared sample underwent synthesis through the conventional sol-gel technique. Examination through X-ray diffraction (XRD) unveiled a well-defined rhombohedral structure within the R3´C space group. Moreover, to evaluate the purity and nano-grain morphology, we utilized energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Electrical assessments were carried out over a frequency span of 100 Hz to 1 MHz and temperatures ranging from 200 to 340 K. Employing the correlated barrier hopping (CBH) model, we analyzed the AC conductivity of our specimen. The activation energy, determined from both DC conductivity and impedance spectra, demonstrated close correspondence, suggesting that both conductivity and r laxation processes are influenced by similar factors. Notably, the dielectric properties hold significant importance, potentially rendering our sample suitable for electronic applications. Furthermore, we calculated thermodynamic parameters, such as enthalpy (ΔH), entropy change (ΔS), and free energy of activation (ΔF), offering deeper insights into the material's behavior and conductivity mechanisms.

Seven previously undescribed glycosides, including four iridoid glycosides (1, 2, 4, and 5), three phenolic glucosides (18, 21, and 22), together with nineteen known compounds, were isolated from the ethanol extract of Gentiana rhodantha Franch. Their structures were determined by analysis of 1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS, X-ray diffraction, NMR calculation, and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculation. Among them, compound 21 was a novel highly rearranged endo-phenolic analogue with a unique skeleton.

Antimony trisulfide (SbS) has emerged as a promising inorganic semiconductor for optoelectronics due to its distinctive anisotropic crystal structure and suitable bandgap (∼1.7 eV). While hydrothermal synthesis remains challenging for achieving high crystallinity and controlled morphology, we developed an innovative dual‑sulfur precursor strategy utilizing sodium thiosulfate (STS) and thioacetamide (TAA) at a 7:2 M ratio with SbCl.

Nanozymes are nanomaterials designed to mimic the catalytic functions of natural enzymes, offering advantages such as enhanced stability, tunability, and scalability. Although precise control over the spatial arrangement of catalytic centers is essential for maximizing nanozyme activity, it remains a fundamental challenge in nanozyme design. Here, we present a supramolecular strategy to achieve molecular-level engineering of catalytic centers by grafting hemin onto monodisperse cellulose oligomers (MCOs).

The sequential preparation of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has received widespread concern for its use in large-scale perovskite modules and perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. However, the instability of the PbI precursor solution and the incomplete reaction of ammonium salts hinder the industrialization of PSCs. Here, by introducing phthalamide (PA) into PbI solution, the carbonyl oxygen of PA molecules undergoes a bidentate coordination reaction with Pb to form an octahedral coordination structure, and the nitrogen atom in the -NH group exhibits weakly acidic properties due to the conjugation effect.

Liquid crystal monomers (LCMs) have emerged as novel endocrine disrupting chemicals that affect the growth, development, and metabolism of organisms by binding to nuclear hormone receptors (NHRs). However, the studies on the impact of LCMs' molecular features on their binding affinities remain limited. In this study, considering the challenge of activity cliffs in linear quantitative structure-activity relationship modeling, a multidimensional feature fusion model was developed to predict the binding affinities of 1173 LCMs to 15 NHRs.
