Aims: This study investigates re-revision and mortality rates following septic revision of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) using registry data from Germany.
Methods: An observational cohort study was conducted using data from the German Arthroplasty Registry (EPRD), consisting of 15,372 revision TKAs. Cumulative incidences of re-revision and mortality for septic and aseptic revision-TKAs were analyzed over a seven-year follow-up (2015 to 2022).

Lacrimal cysts (dacryops), which involve lacrimal tissue, are uncommon in dogs with an obscure/unclear pathogenesis. Compared to the current available literature, this report describes the clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical features of two cases of unusual dacryops in brachycephalic dogs. A three-year-old male Cane Corso was referred with a 1-month history of swelling ventromedial to the left eye associated with blepharospasm and epiphora.

Dental replantation is the treatment of choice for tooth avulsion; however, complications such as root canal obliteration, pulp necrosis and tooth resorption can arise, influenced by factors like extra-alveolar time and the storage medium in which the tooth was maintained. This case report discusses a seven-year-old child who experienced a traumatic avulsion of a permanent maxillary right central incisor with incomplete root formation. While the tooth was successfully replanted and both pulp vitality and complete root formation (apexogenesis) were initially maintained, the tooth later developed root canal obliteration and ankylosis, followed by external replacement root resorption.

Belly dancer's dyskinesia (BDD) is a rare movement disorder marked by involuntary, rhythmic, undulating movements of the abdominal wall, often mistaken for gastrointestinal or psychiatric conditions. We describe the case of a 13-year-old girl with a seven-year history of abdominal spasms that stopped during sleep and resumed on waking. The episodes were accompanied by loud "whooshing" sounds from the abdomen.

Introduction: Aberrant cognition is common among individuals at familial risk for mood disorders (MD) and those already affected. However, long-term prospective studies are needed to determine whether specific cognitive features predict illness onset and relapse; and whether cognitive impairments reflect neurodevelopmental traits or neuroprogressive decline.
Methods: This seven-year prospective study examined the relationship between cognition and illness progression in monozygotic twins with mood disorders, their healthy high-risk monozygotic co-twins, and low-risk twins without a family history.
