However, there have been no reports of late-onset ITP following CBT. A 51-year-old male with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia received unrelated CBT in 2012.

Pelvic visceromotor functions such as micturition are regulated by coordinated autonomic and somatic motor pathways from the central nervous system. The parasympathetic system induces detrusor muscle contraction while the somatic system facilitates relaxation of the external urethral sphincter, ensuring synchronized and efficient bladder emptying during the voiding process. This study explores the relationship between Barrington's nucleus corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH)-ergic projections and the formation of perineural nets (PNNs) among spinal motoneurons, particularly parasympathetic preganglionic neurons in the intermediolateral nucleus (IML) and Onuf's nucleus during the maturation of the neural circuitry controlling pelvic visceromotor functions.

We report a 43-year-old man with de novo metastatic testicular seminoma complicated by paraplegia from spinal cord compression due to retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. Urgent retroperitoneal biopsy confirmed seminoma and, after the patient declined neurosurgical intervention, systemic chemotherapy was promptly initiated prior to delayed orchidectomy. Post-chemotherapy orchidectomy histology revealed minimal viable tumour and serial imaging showed a residual retroperitoneal mass with low-grade uptake on FDG-PET.

Testicular torsion is a urological emergency that occurs when the spermatic cord twists, cutting off blood supply to the testicle, and it requires immediate surgical intervention to prevent irreversible damage. Although it typically presents with sudden, severe scrotal pain and swelling, atypical presentations can complicate diagnosis and delay treatment. We report the case of a 25-year-old male who presented to the emergency department with a sudden onset of left lower abdominal pain and left inguinal swelling.

Background: Previous studies did not investigate the effect of gradually increasing the concentration of low-dose oxytocin on mother and newborn outcomes. The purpose of this study was to look at the relationship between oxytocin responsiveness and outcomes for both mothers and newborns during labor induction.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Nantong Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and participants were divided into the early reaction to oxytocin group and the later reaction to oxytocin group based on oxytocin response.
