X-ray crystallography provides a distinctive view on the three-dimensional structure of crystals. To reconstruct the electron density map, the complex structure factors [Formula: see text] of a sufficiently large number of diffracted reflections must be known. In a conventional experiment, only the amplitudes [Formula: see text] are obtained, and the phases ϕ are lost. This is the crystallographic phase problem. In this work, we show that a neural network, trained on millions of artificial structure data, can solve the phase problem at a resolution of only 2 angstroms, using only 10 to 20% of the data needed for direct methods. The network works in common space groups and for modest unit-cell dimensions and suggests that neural networks could be used to solve the phase problem in the general case for weakly scattering crystals.

Background: Existing research fails to address the complex nature of nonspecific chronic lower back pain (cLBP ) despite its detrimental effect on economic, societal, and medical expenditures.
Objectives: We developed a nurse-led, mobile-delivered self-management intervention-Problem-Solving Pain to Enhance Living Well (PROPEL-M)-and evaluated its usability, feasibility, and initial efficacy for South Korean adults with nonspecific cLBP.
Methods: This study was composed of two phases: (a) lab and field usability testing for a gamified mobile device application; and (b) a pilot study employing a one-arm pre-test and post-test design among adults aged 18-60 years with nonspecific cLBP.

There is also growing evidence that nanosized microplastics (nanoplastics) can be hazardous to living species. Unlike most experimental methods, computer modeling is particularly well suited to studying the effects of such nanoplastics.

Objective: To describe the adaptation, preparation, and implementation of a multilevel course to strengthen health personnel capacity related to the surveillance cycle for events supposedly attributable to vaccination or immunization (ESAVI) in Nicaragua.
Methods: A descriptive study was developed based on the implementation of a multilevel course aimed at national and municipal managers of the Expanded Program on Immunization and Epidemiology. The educational strategy included virtual learning, peer-to-peer learning, and pedagogical mediation with certified tutors.
