Purpose: Cardiac noradrenergic denervation visualized by meta-[I]iodobenzylguanidine ([I]MIBG) imaging supports the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease (PD). Recently, meta-[F] fluorobenzylguanidine ([F]MFBG) PET demonstrated favorable imaging characteristics compared with [I]MIBG scintigraphy for neuroendocrine tumors. We assessed [F]MFBG dosimetry and myocardial pharmacokinetics in healthy controls and PD patients.

Background: Conventional cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) examinations require patients to repeatedly hold their breath, which can reduce examination efficiency and pose challenges for patients unable to do so. This study aimed to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of a full free-breathing CMR protocol in clinical practice.
Methods: Patients prospectively enrolled in this study underwent a full free-breathing CMR exam on a 3T scanner between June 1 and June 30, 2024.

Introduction: Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) poses challenges for component positioning during total hip arthroplasty (THA) secondary to abnormal bone morphology, soft-tissue contractures, and hip center migration. The objective of this study was to evaluate the radiographic and clinical outcomes of THA for DDH performed with robotic assistance versus manual (M) technique.
Methods: A retrospective review identified 115 patients with Crowe II to IV dysplasia undergoing primary THA at a single institution from 2016 to 2022.

Background: South Africa faces emerging resistance to TB drugs like bedaquiline. Phenotypic drug susceptibility testing (DST), the current reference standard for bedaquiline DST, has long turnaround times. Targeted next-generation sequencing (tNGS) offers a comprehensive alternative, potentially delivering faster results.
