Background: This study aimed to investigate the performance of two versions of ChatGPT (o1 and 4o) in making decisions about coronary revascularization and to compare the recommendations of these versions with those of a multidisciplinary Heart Team. Moreover, the study aimed to assess whether the decisions generated by ChatGPT, based on the internal knowledge base of the system and clinical guidelines, align with expert recommendations in real-world coronary artery disease management. Given the increasing prevalence and processing capabilities of large language models, such as ChatGPT, this comparison offers insights into the potential applicability of these systems in complex clinical decision-making.

Background: Coagulation disorders are potentially one of the most important pathogeneses of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) following acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD). This study aimed to determine whether aortic dissection singularly and cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) surgery can activate coagulation pathways, promoting ARDS development in patients with ATAAD.
Methods: A total of 450 patients who received treatment at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, between March 2023 and February 2024 were consecutively enrolled in this prospective cohort study.

Background: Remimazolam tosilate, a novel ultra-short-acting benzodiazepine, demonstrates promising safety profiles in clinical settings. While both remimazolam tosilate and etomidate provide hemodynamic stability during anesthesia induction, limited research has directly compared their effects on electroencephalogram (EEG) burst suppression (periods of transient brain wave silence), a potential predictor of adverse neurological outcomes. This study aims to compare the incidence rate of EEG burst suppression (ESR) with remimazolam tosilate versus etomidate by reviewing the drug regimens used by different anesthesiologists in clinical practice.

Background And Aim: Echocardiographic assessment in equines is typically performed on standing animals; however, no studies have evaluated left ventricular function in anesthetized mules using high-dose xylazine. Given the unique pharmacokinetics in mules and their higher anesthetic requirements, this study aimed to assess the effects of acepromazine-xylazine-diazepam-ketamine anesthesia, using the upper limit xylazine dose (1.6 mg/kg), on the left ventricular size and function in mules.

Blood perfusion in cardiac tissues involves intricate interactions among vascular networks and tissue mechanics. Perfusion deficit is one of the leading causes of cardiac diseases, and modeling certain cardiac conditions that are clinically infeasible, invasive, or costly can provide valuable supplementary insights to aid clinicians. However, existing homogeneous perfusion models lack the complexity required for patient-specific simulations.
