Heart failure (HF) remains a global health challenge that imposes significant clinical and economic burden. Treatment adherence to guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) remains a major challenge in the management of HF, despite the availability of guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT). Psychiatric home-visit nursing is vital for individuals with mental disorders, but its implementation has lagged behind physical home-visit nursing because of Japan's historical emphasis on institutional psychiatric care. This study adapted Impulsive Decision Reduction Training for Youth (IDRT-Y) from an adult model to improve adolescent decision-making and reduce risky behaviors. In an open pilot trial, 26 youth (ages 10-17) with frequent, impairing risky behaviors were randomly assigned to either immediate intervention (n = 13) or a 12-week waitlist (n = 13).
