Introduction: Accurate diagnosis of subscapularis tears remains challenging due to the limitations of physical examinations and imaging techniques. Therefore, specific radiological parameters have been proposed as predictors of atraumatic subscapularis tears to improve diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy. These parameters include coracohumeral distance (CHD), coracoglenoid angle (CGA), coracoid angle (CA), coracoid overlap (CO), and coracohumeral angle (CHA).

Objective: The concept of spinal cord injury without radiographic abnormality (SCIWORA) was introduced in the 1980s. Unfortunately, the nomenclature creates confusion in the modern MRI-based era when applied to pediatric traumatic spinal injuries. The authors investigated the incidence and clinical characteristics of pediatric patients with true imaging-negative traumatic cervical spinal cord injuries (SCIs).

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the predictive efficacy of quantitative CT (QCT)-based endplate volumetric bone mineral density (EP-vBMD) and MRI-based endplate vertebral bone quality (EBQ) score for cage subsidence (CS) after lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF).
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on patients who underwent single-level LLIF in conjunction with pedicle screw fixation at the authors' institution between January 2019 and April 2023. The volumetric bone mineral density (vBMD) was measured based on preoperative CT using phantom-less QCT software.

Background: In mouse embryos, the body axis typically follows a right-handed helical pattern; however, a definitive orientation in human embryos has not been established. This study aimed to characterize the body axis orientation in human embryos (CS13-CS17) from the Kyoto Collection.
Methods: Embryos were classified as right-helical (RH), left-helical (LH), and middle (M) using MRI-based morphological assessment.

Introduction: Radiomics offers the potential to predict oncological outcomes from pre-operative imaging, aiding in the identification of 'high risk' patients with sinonasal cancer who are at an increased risk of recurrence. This study aims to comprehensively review the current literature on the role of radiomics as a predictor of disease recurrence in sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma.
Methods: A systematic search was conducted in Medline, EMBASE and Web of Science databases.
