Background: The concept of ecological validity (EV) in neuropsychological interventions (NI) has been consistently advocated, but there is a lack of reviews focused on how EV is operationalized in NI programmes. This review aims to address this gap by exploring the outcome measures more commonly used for assessing EV and to understand the main characteristics of programmes with good EV.
Method: A literature search was conducted to identify studies that examined the EV of NI programmes, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and the Cochrane Collaboration Guidelines.
Results: A total of twenty-seven studies were included in this review. Among these, only three studies explicitly described the procedures used to assess EV. Additionally, almost half of the studies assumed that interventions had good EV based on the characteristics of the programmes. The inconsistent assessment of EV of NI programmes prevented the identification of specific characteristics of programmes demonstrating good EV.
Conclusion: This systematic review reveals a significant gap in the literature concerning the operationalization of EV within the field of NI. Further research is required to establish a consistent definition of EV in the context of NI and to develop criteria for its effective operationalization.

Background And Objectives: Years before diagnosis of Parkinson disease (PD), dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), or multiple system atrophy (MSA), mild prodromal manifestations can be detected. Longitudinal follow-up of people with prodromal synucleinopathy, particularly idiopathic/isolated REM sleep behavior disorder (iRBD), enables in-depth clinical phenotyping of early disease, which could facilitate stratification for clinical trials, provide the definition of appropriate end points, or predict phenoconversion more precisely. The aim of this study was to update and expand on previous studies assessing clinical evolution from iRBD to clinically diagnosed disease, up to 14 years before diagnosis.

Hydrogel-based bioinks are widely adopted in digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing. Modulating their mechanical properties is especially beneficial in biomedical applications, such as directing cell activity toward tissue regeneration and healing. However, in both monolithic and granular hydrogels, the tunability of mechanical properties is limited to parameters such as cross-linking or packing density.

A frequent goal of phage biology is to quantify how well a phage kills a population of host bacteria. Unfortunately, traditional methods to quantify phage success can be time-consuming, limiting the throughput of experiments. Here, we use theory to show how the effects of phages on their hosts can be quantified using bacterial population dynamics measured in a high-throughput microplate reader (automated spectrophotometer).

Using 730 winning entries in the 2023 "Kyushu Cup" National Study Tour Program Design Competition as examples, this article analyzes characteristics of geography study tour program development in China via GIS and SPSS software. The study results show that the development of geography study tour programs in China is unbalanced in terms of spatial distribution, course content, main body of design, and field trip scope. The following manifestations were observed: first, there are large spatial and administrative differences in the development of Chinese geography study tour programs; second, although geography is a comprehensive discipline that emphasizes the holistic nature of regional studies, the proportion of comprehensive regional study tours is relatively low; third, colleges and universities are the primary developers of geography study tour programs, followed by secondary schools; and finally, the development of Chinese geography study tour programs is dominated by local study tours, which are mainly based on vernacular geography.

Background: The efficacy of subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) in allergic rhinitis (AR) patients varies. Component-resolved diagnostics (CRD) may serve as a useful tool to predict therapeutic responses.
Methods: Forty-three house dust mite (HDM)-sensitized AR patients undergoing SCIT were enrolled.
