Hamstring injuries in soccer continue to be a challenge for professionals who work with soccer players daily. Although its origin is multifactorial, the proper management of neuromuscular fatigue during the training microcycle is a very important factor to consider. There are no clear guidelines regarding the weekly distribution of certain exercises that demand the hamstrings. The main objective of this study was to describe the usual training practices of professional European soccer teams. An international observational survey design was applied to some of the strength and conditioning coaches of professional soccer teams. The survey included different neuromuscular demanding exercises for the hamstrings. For each exercise, the strength and conditioning coaches had to respond in relation to their frequency of use and timepoint depending on the day of the weekly microcycle. Although there is no strong consensus in this regard, there does seem to be a trend when applying certain exercises, especially on the days matchday-4 and matchday-3.

Purpose: To compare return to play (RTP), time to RTP, level of RTP, and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) graft failure among elite and professional athletes from different sports after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR).
Methods: The PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library databases were searched to identify potentially relevant research articles that analysed RTP, time to RTP, level of RTP, and graft failure rate in elite and professional athletes after ACLR. An elite or professional athlete was defined as one who participates in national- or international-level competitions in professional or amateur sports-including academy players aged 15 years or over.

Mental health conditions affect many young people in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), where stigma is high and access to care is limited. Digital tools accessible on basic mobile phones offer a scalable way to promote mental health, but evidence on their effectiveness in SSA is limited. This study evaluated the reach, feasibility, acceptability, and knowledge outcomes of Digital MindSKILLZ, an interactive voice response (IVR) mental health intervention implemented in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia.

Purpose: This study examined the external load of different floater types and regular players (RPs) in small-sided games, as well as the effects of low and high inferiority on RPs in professional men's soccer.
Methods: Twenty-four male soccer players from the Greek top-tier league participated in small-sided games over an 8-week in-season period. The games were played without goalkeepers on 4 minigoals, with a 2-touch restriction for inside floaters and a 1-touch restriction for outside floaters.
