Objective: To examine the safety and effectiveness of non-inverted ILM Free Flap combined with the SPOT technique (Sub-Perfluorocarbon liquid (PFCL) injection of Ocular viscoelastic device (OVD) Technique) in the treatment of unclosed macular holes (MHs).
Design: Retrospective interventional case series.
Participants: Eight patients (8 eyes) with persistent unclosed MHs were treated at a tertiary eye hospital in China from September 2023 to February 2025.

This study investigated the effects of using the intelligent and non-intelligent versions of Ibigkas! Math-a mobile-based, computer-supported collaborative learning platform for Grade 5 mathematics on the mathematics performance of Grade 5 students. Out of 155 Grade 5 students from four universities, only 119 participated in the five consecutive-day experiment. Ethical approval was granted before data collection.

Purpose: Patients with primary adrenal insufficiency (PAI) require mineralocorticoid replacement therapy in addition to glucocorticoids. These therapies should be considered in combination because most glucocorticoids also possess mineralocorticoid activity. We aimed to investigate the relationship between fludrocortisone and hydrocortisone-equivalent dosing in patients with PAI.

This study presents a medico-legal case study of an infant who died as a result of intestinal volvulus, a rare but severe complication secondary to the ingestion of multiple magnets and button batteries. The mutual attraction of magnets through adjacent intestinal loops, compounded by the corrosive effects of button batteries, can precipitate rapid and irreversible damage to the gastrointestinal wall. A comprehensive review of the literature on documented pediatric cases involving the ingestion of magnets and button batteries was undertaken to compare the spectrum and frequency of complications.
