Purpose: The current study investigated the impact of a short mobile training implemented in peer pairs to teach the Communicating Choices-CVI (Peers) strategy to support interactions with students with multiple disabilities.
Method: A pretest-posttest control group design was used to evaluate the effects of the training created on the INSTRUCT app, which used a checklist of steps with video models to teach elementary-age peers a strategy to structure opportunities for students with multiple disabilities to communicate choices. Peers were randomly assigned to the experimental group ( = 10) or control group ( = 10) and then video-recorded while interacting with students with multiple disabilities during one pretest and one posttest interaction in their typical educational settings.

The seven-point checklist (7PCL) is a widely used diagnostic tool in dermoscopy for identifying malignant melanoma by assigning point values to seven specific attributes. However, the traditional 7PCL is limited to distinguishing between malignant melanoma and melanocytic nevi (MN) and falls short in scenarios where multiple skin diseases with appearances similar to melanoma coexist. To address this limitation, we propose a novel diagnostic framework that integrates a clinical knowledge-based topological graph (CKTG) with a gradient diagnostic strategy featuring a data-driven weighting (GD-DDW) system.

Background: The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma requires that trauma centers have a structured approach to identifying patients at risk for mental health conditions. However, the college does not recommend any specific screening protocol. The Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) is a validated, 20-question screening instrument used at many trauma centers.

Correct ventilation during out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is essential, as both hypo- and hyperventilation are linked to increased mortality. Despite this, ventilations are frequently given outside of recommended guidelines.
