Bacterial meningitis and infectious cavernous sinus thrombosis (CST) are both life-threatening central nervous system infections, often caused by sinusitis. While cerebrovascular complications are well-recognized in bacterial meningitis, their association with CST is rare. A 69-year-old man presented with a 19-day history of headache, followed by diplopia.

Background: Emerging evidence suggests a possible link between rhinosinusitis and systemic rheumatic diseases; however, no meta-analysis has comprehensively examined this association to date. We aimed to investigate if patients with rhinosinusitis have a predisposition to unmasking rheumatic diseases compared to individuals without rhinosinusitis.
Methods: A comprehensive search in MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science was conducted until February 2025 for studies characterizing rheumatic disease incidence, prevalence, and risk in cohorts of rhinosinusitis patients.

Unlabelled: The urgency of the problem of acute rhinosinusitis is determined by the scale of its prevalence, the tendency to prolonged course and chronization, and its active role in the formation of severe complications, which necessitates the search for new methods of diagnosis and treatment of this pathology. Assessment of the sense of smell in patients with acute rhinosinusitis is an important diagnostic criterion that allows assessing the severity of inflammation and the effectiveness of therapy.
Objective: To improve the results of treatment of acute rhinosinusitis through the use of Inflasinusans, taking into account the assessment of the clinical picture and olfactory function.

Background: The present case describes a rare presentation of sudden onset acute bilateral vision loss due to cerebral venous thrombosis secondary to malignant rise in intracranial pressure.
Case Presentation: A 23-year-old male patient presented with sudden onset bilateral loss of vision of one week duration. Best-corrected visual acuity was 6/18, N12, and perception of light in the right and left eye, respectively.
