The carbonaceous asteroid Ryugu has been explored by the Hayabusa2 spacecraft to elucidate the actual nature of hydrous asteroids. Laboratory analyses revealed that the samples from Ryugu are comparable to unheated CI carbonaceous chondrites; however, reflectance spectra of Ryugu samples and CIs do not coincide. Here, we demonstrate that Ryugu sample spectra are reproduced by heating Orgueil CI chondrite at 300°C under reducing conditions, which caused dehydration of terrestrial weathering products and reduction of iron in phyllosilicates. Terrestrial weathering of CIs accounts for the spectral differences between Ryugu sample and CIs, which is more severe than space weathering that likely explains those between asteroid Ryugu and the collected samples. Previous assignments of CI chondrite parent bodies, i.e., chemically most primitive objects in the solar system, are based on the spectra of CI chondrites. This study indicates that actual spectra of CI parent bodies are much darker and flatter at ultraviolet to visible wavelengths than the spectra of CI chondrites.

Within the broader topic of women's intuition, the focus of this work is mother-offspring intuition-the enigmatic connection between a mother and her offspring, wherein distress or imminent harm is instantly sensed, even when thousands of miles apart. Instant nonlocal communication irrespective of distance, is known as entanglement in quantum physics, and has been repeatedly verified since the 1970's. Building upon this discovery, a new concept--is postulated to create a two-way micro to macroscale bond of tacit connection between a mother and a fetus, initiated at conception.

Objective: To systematically evaluate the association between anthropometric parameter and myopia in children and adolescents.
Methods: PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, Embase, CNKI, CBM, WanFang Data, and VIP databases were searched from inception to June, 2025. We collected cross-sectional studies on the association between anthropometric parameter and myopia in children and adolescents aged 0-25 years, including body mass index (BMI) and weight-adjusted waist index (WWI).

Background: Epilepsy is prevalent in 22.2% of the intellectual disability (ID) population, with complexities spanning across health and social care sectors. Minimal research has been conducted to explore the experiences of epilepsy care within social care, despite its significance.

The health implications of prolonged wildfire smoke exposure - such as that seen during the 2019-2020 Australian bushfires - are a major concern in public health, not only in Australia but in many fire-prone areas globally. One group identified as potentially more susceptible to smoke exposure than the general population are pregnant women. Based on a study of how pregnant women and parents with newborn babies experienced the bushfire smoke event in Canberra and the NSW southeast coast, the paper examines how the placenta was figured across two domains during this time.

Applying our model, JODIE, to 30,000 child-mother-father trios with phased DNA information from the Estonian Biobank (EstBB) and the Norwegian Mother, Father, Child Cohort (MoBa), we jointly estimate the phenotypic variance attributable to these four effects unbiased of assortative mating (AM) for height, body mass index (BMI) and childhood educational test score (EA). For all three traits, direct effects make the largest contribution to the genetic effect variance.
