Background: The objective of this study was to assess the long-term effectiveness and safety of implanting mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord tissue (UC-MSC) in patients diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP).

Methods: In this single-center study with a retrospective design, 669 eyes received suprachoroidal implantation of 5 million UC-MSCs. Postoperative assessments were conducted on the first day, third month, and every 6 months thereafter.

Introduction: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a rare, life-threatening mucocutaneous reaction characterized by extensive epidermal detachment and multi-organ involvement. It is most commonly triggered by drugs, including antibiotics such as cephalosporins. Although TEN predominantly affects adults and females, its occurrence in pediatric males is exceedingly rare.

Background: Distraction arthroplasty aims to treat ankle osteoarthritis while preserving the native ankle joint, often to prevent or delay ankle arthrodesis or total ankle replacement (TAR). No study to date has explored TAR outcomes in patients who have had prior distraction arthroplasty. Thus, this study described the clinical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes for TAR at minimum 2-year follow-up in patients who had undergone prior ankle distraction arthroplasty.
