Globally, millions of individuals suffer from infectious diseases, which are major public health concerns caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or parasites. These diseases can be transmitted directly or indirectly from person to person, potentially leading to a pandemic or epidemic. Several advancements have been made in molecular genetics for infectious disease management, which include pharmaceutical chemistry, medicine, and infection tracking; however, these advancements still lack control over human infections.

Introduction: Sensory discrimination training has demonstrated improvements in two-point discrimination and pain reduction in people with chronic pain. We tested the feasibility and acceptability of a novel Sensory Training System (STS) device in the homes of people with Type 1 Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).
Methods: Participants meeting CRPS diagnostic criteria were invited to use the STS for a minimum of 30 minutes per day for 30 days.
Objective: To investigate the association of turn parameters with cognitive status in patients with Parkinson disease (PD) and determine the value of turn performance in distinguishing PD-related cognitive impairment (CI) from normal cognition (NC).
Methods: This study recruited 168 patients with PD, including 102 patients with NC and 66 patients with CI. The participants performed 180° turn performance trials during the Timed Up and Go walk and 360° turn trials in place using the MATRIX wearable system.

Clear and effective communication between humans and robots is crucial when they work closely together. As wearable robots become more intelligent and automated, anticipatory control is limited for amputees because they lack prior knowledge of the timing and nature of changes in the robot's motion, making human-machine collaboration more challenging. This study addresses the need for improved wearable robot transparency by enhancing a prosthetic controller to provide users with advanced notifications of locomotion mode changes.
