Introduction: This study examined the beliefs and practices of Spanish national swimming coaches regarding season planning, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of how they organize training throughout the year.

Methods: A total of 18 coaches participated and were classified based on the performance level of their swimmers: World Class (27.8%), Elite (11.

Left Ventricular Motion Analysis Framework for the MATRIX-VT Study.

Int J Comput Assist Radiol Surg

September 2025

Department of Rhythmology, University Heart Center Lübeck, University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Ratzeburger Allee 160, Lübeck, 23652, Germany.

Purpose: Ultrasound (US) is commonly used to assess left ventricular motion for examination of heart function. In stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) therapy, managing cardiorespiratory motion during radiation delivery requires representation of motion information in computed tomography (CT) coordinates. Similar to conventional US-guided navigation during surgical procedures, 3D US can provide real-time motion data of the radiation target that could be transferred to CT coordinates and then be accounted for by the radiation system.

Introduction: Biofeedback is a non-pharmacological treatment option valued for its minimal risk of adverse events and offers a safe alternative for individuals seeking preventive care for migraine. Despite level A evidence for migraine prevention, biofeedback treatment is still unavailable to most patients. We developed a novel medical device (Cerebri) for multimodal biofeedback treatment that omits the need for healthcare personnel involvement.

Cardiac Dual-Targeting Nanocatalysts for Heart Failure Therapy by Breaking the ROS-Inflammation Positive Feedback.

Huiya Hospital of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, National and Local United Engineering Lab of Druggability and New Drugs Evaluation, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Huizhou, 516081, P. R. China.

Heart failure (HF) is a global public health challenge closely associated with oxidative stress and immune dysregulation. However, current therapeutic strategies for HF generally lack specific targeting to cardiac tissue, and the high perfusion rate of the heart further exacerbates insufficient drug accumulation at lesion sites, thus compromising therapeutic efficacy. Inspired by the barb-hook of Xanthium strumarium, FeO@UiO-66 is functionalized with tannic acid (TA) to obtain a dual-target nanocatalyst, termed FUTA.

Bilateral Coordination is Improved at 10-km Race Speed in Trained Runners.

Int J Sports Med

September 2025

Unidad Académica de Biofísica, Facultad de Medicina, Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay.

In the last decades, gait variability (GV) has provided new insight into motor control. No study, though, quantified the GV together with bilateral symmetry at different running intensities in runners. For this aim, 16 male runners (35±6 y), after a simulated 10-km time trial (average speed, TT), performed randomly three 15-minute running bouts at TT running speed, 10% slower, and 10% faster than TT.
