Left transposition of the great arteries with inlet ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis is a relatively uncommon cardiac malformation. Two surgical treatments are available: double switch or physiological correction. The choice of surgical technique depends on the results of a discussion between the family and the surgeon. Choosing the appropriate technique is challenging because all options present various complications and benefits. We present a 'triple switch' aortic and pulmonary root inversion and modified Senning procedure for an anatomically complex left transposition of the great arteries with an inlet ventricular septal defect and pulmonary stenosis.

Aims: Fetal circulation undergoes complex changes in congenital heart disease (CHD) that are challenging to assess with fetal echocardiography. This study aimed to assess clinical feasibility and diagnostic value of 4D flow cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) in fetal CHD.
Methods And Results: Pregnant women in advanced third trimester pregnancy with fetal CHD were prospectively recruited for fetal CMR between 08/2021 and 11/2024.
Transposition is a well-known genome rearrangement event that switches two consecutive sub-strings on a string. Since a transposition makes changes to a string, the genome here is just a string. The problem of transforming one string into the other by a sequence of transposition operations has attracted a lot of attention.

We report the transposition of a 9,045-bp transposon (Tn) carrying the /target-gene-like()/ array to a conjugative plasmid (pCtra) in pediatric multidrug-resistant community-associated methicillin-resistant . Tn contained a 7-bp target site () on the left; an internal on the right, apparently "brought-in" through a circular intermediate; and and in the gene and its neighboring gene, respectively. This transposition enhanced ampicillin resistance and facilitated Tn spread at a frequency of 10.
