Objective: To investigate the management strategies of external fixation combined with microsurgical techniques for repairing complex foot and ankle wounds in children.
Methods: The clinical data of 9 children with complex foot and ankle wounds who met the selection criteria between June 2017 and December 2021 was retrospectively analyzed. There were 6 boys and 3 girls, aged 3-13 years, with an average of 7.

Objective: To investigate the safety and effectiveness of using the Taylor spatial frame (TSF) based on the Ilizarov tension-stress principle for treatment of post-burn foot and ankle deformities in adults.
Methods: A clinical data of 6 patients with post-burn foot and ankle deformities treated between April 2019 and November 2023 was retrospectively analyzed. There was 1 male and 5 females with an average age of 28.

Varicocele is a common, potentially correctable condition associated with impaired male fertility. Despite being frequently encountered in clinical andrology, its pathophysiological mechanisms, diagnostic criteria, and therapeutic approaches remain areas of active investigation and debate. The authors conducted a comprehensive literature search, using the PubMed database, covering clinical studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and current international guidelines from the past ten years.

The correction of iatrogenic ectropion of the lower lid represents one of the most complex surgical challenges for the plastic surgeon. These complications compromise both the functionality and aesthetics of the periocular area, and corrective interventions aim to restore the functionality and anatomy of the region. The combination of multiple complications often requires the use of various surgical techniques to resolve the problem.

Background: External auditory canal (EAC) atresia is a congenital anomaly leading to hearing impairment. Various techniques have been used for its surgical correction, but no gold standard exists.
Method: This paper describes a fascia-skin composite grafting technique utilizing temporal muscle fascia and postauricular skin for EAC reconstruction.
