Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common cancer worldwide and the fourth most common cancer among men in South Korea, where the prevalence of chronic hepatitis B infection is high in middle and old age. The current practice guidelines will provide useful and sensible advice for the clinical management of patients with HCC. A total of 49 experts in the fields of hepatology, oncology, surgery, radiology, and radiation oncology from the Korean Liver Cancer Association-National Cancer Center Korea Practice Guideline Revision Committee revised the 2018 Korean guidelines and developed new recommendations that integrate the most up-to-date research findings and expert opinions. These guidelines provide useful information and direction for all clinicians, trainees, and researchers in the diagnosis and treatment of HCC.

Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) for lung cancer involves complex multileaf collimator (MLC) motion, which increases sensitivity to interplay effects with tumour motion. Current dynamic conformal arc methods address this issue but may limit the achievable dose distribution optimisation compared with standard VMAT. This study examined the clinical utility of a VMAT technique with monitor unit limits (VMATliMU) to mimic conformal arc delivery and reduce interplay effects while maintaining plan quality.

This study aimed to investigate the age-related alterations in mesial roots of mandibular first molar in terms of root canal curvature values, dentin thickness, interorifice distance, deviation from apical foramen, and location of apical foramen using a three-dimensional curvature measurement method and micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). Forty-five mesial roots of mandibular first molars from three age groups (Group 1: ≤ 30 years, Group 2: 31-59 years, Group 3: ≥ 60 years) were scanned using micro-CT. The central axis of each mesiobuccal and mesiolingual canal was analyzed using cubic B-spline curves to calculate canal curvature.

Global warming causes heat stress in livestock, impairing their health, welfare, and productivity. In bovines, chronic stress elevates cortisol levels; however, this response often goes undetected due to the lack of practical biomatrices for accurate assessment. Common biomatrices such as blood require repeated sampling that may affect measurement accuracy.

Accurate brain signal recording and precise electrode placement are critical for the success of neuromodulation therapies such as deep brain stimulation (DBS). Addressing these challenges requires deep brain electrodes that provide high-quality, stable recordings while remaining compatible with high-resolution medical imaging modalities like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Moreover, such electrodes shall be cost-effective, easy to manufacture, and patient-compatible.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were threefold: (1) to evaluate the influence of femoral antecurvature on coronal alignment changes following supracondylar femoral derotational osteotomy (FDO); (2) to investigate the combined effects of derotation angle and osteotomy orientation in relation to femoral antecurvature and (3) to propose a practical strategy for minimising valgus deviation after FDO based sagittal femoral bowing.
Materials And Methods: Sixty-six cadaveric femoral computed tomography (CT) scans were analysed using three-dimensional (3D) simulation. Femurs were classified into three groups based on the degree of antecurvature using the distal diaphyseal angle (DDA).
