Article Abstract
Quality patient care and advancements in medical education, investigation, and innovation require effective teamwork. High-functioning teams navigate stressful environments, learning openly from failures and leveraging successes to fuel future initiatives. The authors review foundational concepts for implementing and sustaining successful teams, including emotional intelligence, trust, inclusivity, clear communication, and accountability. Focus is given to real-world examples and actionable, practical solutions.

Background: Sierra Leone has the world's third highest incidence of maternal mortality, with 443 deaths per 100,000 live births. Strengthening the country's midwifery workforce is essential to providing adequate maternal healthcare and reducing preventable perinatal mortality. In support of this goal, we developed and implemented a midwifery preceptor program (MPP) to train experienced midwives to effectively mentor new and student midwives.

Amidst the global shift toward cannabis legalization, this study examines medical cannabis (MC) sales as an indicator of economic activity and innovation. It explores associations between MC sales, and variables including tobacco use, alcohol consumption, amphetamine, cocaine and cannabis prevalence, and gross domestic product (GDP), using a fixed effects (FE) panel regression model. It also evaluates associations between cannabis legalization and MC sales over time using a dynamic Difference-in-Differences (DiD) approach with multiple time periods.

Background: Little is documented on key community-based One Health (OH) approach implementation, pro-activeness and effectiveness of interactions and strategies against Mpox outbreak public health emergency in international concern (PHEIC) in various African countries in order to stamp out the persisting Mpox outbreak threat and burden. Prioritizing critical community-based interventions and lessons learned from previous COVID-19, Mpox, Ebola, COVID-19, Rift Valley Fever and Marburg virus outbreaks revealed critical shortcomings in funding, surveillance, and community engagement that plague public health initiatives across the continent. The article provides critical insights and benefits of community-based One Health approaches implementation against Mpox outbreak management in Africa.

Five decades after the term 'herstory' (Morgan 1970) was proposed, stories which have vindicated the social and historical role of anonymous women have proliferated in different biographical genres. Background/objective: Adherence rates to supervised gym-based exercise programs traditionally decline over time, highlighting the need to understand participants' perceptions regarding barriers and facilitators to long-term participation. To explore the experiences of people with one or more chronic conditions participating in an ongoing, supervised, gym-based exercise program in regional Australia.
Method: Semistructured interviews were completed with 40 participants and were analyzed thematically using a descriptive qualitative approach.
