Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) remains a critical global health challenge, and is mainly due to inappropriate antimicrobial use in human and animal health sectors. This systematic review examines the roles of Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) and Community Health Workers (CHWs) in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) across Africa where AMR burden is highest and AMS programs are limited. Following PRISMA guidelines, this systematic review analyzed 16 studies (2017-2024) from nine African nations.

Despite a general understanding of its geographic regions, significant gaps remain in identifying the habitat distribution and key predictor variables of Bidens macroptera through species distribution modeling (SDM) in the context of climate change. We developed an ensemble species distribution model using 2 statistical and 3 machine learning algorithms.

Therefore, the knowledge gained from international health experiences can be applied to the public health administration in Japan. The purpose of this study was to clarify the competencies and knowledge possessed by those with international health experience and their acquisition process, and to examine how they are applied to public health administration in Japan.

Maternal undernutrition in Africa remains a public health challenge, contributing to negative pregnancy outcomes, neonatal mortality, and perpetuating intergenerational cycles of poor health. Antenatal multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS), a cost-effective intervention recognized for its potential to improve maternal and neonatal health, reduces risks of low birth weight, preterm birth, small for gestational age, and stillbirth while offering a $37 return for every $1 invested. Despite its benefits, MMS adoption across African countries remains suboptimal.

Background: In 2015, Tanzania joined the Global Financing Facility (GFF), a global health initiative for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH-N).
