Background: Alcohol consumption is a risk factor for certain cancers and is increasing in the United States. We estimated the impact of alcohol consumption on cancer incidence trends in the United States from 2008-2019 across six alcohol-related cancers among men and women.
Methods: Average daily alcohol consumption (ADC) was calculated from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS, 1998-2009) and adjusted to per capita sales data to account for underreporting alcohol use.

Background: Recent studies have highlighted that one of the main drivers for metastatic formation and resistance to the therapy are circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and cancer stem-like cells (CSCs). Measuring the CTCs has emerged as a non-invasive procedure for selecting the patients with higher risk of progression/relapse. However, still there are no methods enabling the identification of stem-like phenotype of the CTCs.

Background: Neoantigen-based vaccines show promising therapeutic potential in solid tumors such as melanoma, GBM, NSCLC, and CRC. However, clinical responses remain suboptimal in stage IV patients, due to ineffective T-cell function and high tumor burdens. To overcome these limitations, our study investigates a combination strategy using neoantigen peptide vaccines and precision critical lesion radiotherapy (CLERT), which delivers immunomodulatory doses to key tumor regions synergistically enhance immune activation and inhibit progression in multifocal stage IV patients.

Objective: The family doctor system plays a crucial role in promoting the gradient utilization of health resources. However, empirical evidence regarding the use of health services across different levels of care by diabetic patients under family doctor contracts remains limited. This study aimed to investigate the impact of the family doctor system on the gradient utilization of health services among diabetic patients using real-world data.
