Functional imaging using genetically encoded indicators, such as GCaMP, has become a foundational tool for in vivo experiments and allows for the analysis of cellular dynamics, sensory processing, and cellular communication. However, large scale or complex functional imaging experiments pose analytical challenges. Many programs have worked to create pipelines to address these challenges, however, most platforms require proprietary software, impose operational restrictions, offer limited outputs, or require significant knowledge of various programming languages, which collectively can limit utility.

Background: Online adaptive radiation therapy (ART) offers a paradigm shift in radiotherapy by enabling adjustments to the planned dose based on daily anatomical variation. In the context of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for online ART on a standard linac, thoracic and abdominal treatment sites in particular present unique challenges due to the typically large treatment volumes, mobile anatomy, scatter-induced image quality degradation, and hounsfield unit (HU) limitations. A recent hardware and software upgrade for a standard linac, Varian TrueBeam (TB) v4.

Computing the standard benchmark metric for 3D face reconstruction, namely geometric error, requires a number of steps, such as mesh cropping, rigid alignment, or point correspondence. Current benchmark tools are monolithic (they implement a specific combination of these steps), even though there is no consensus on the best way to measure error. We present a toolkit for a Modularized 3D Face reconstruction Benchmark (M3DFB), where the fundamental components of error computation are segregated and interchangeable, allowing one to quantify the effect of each.

Background: E-cigarette use among youth in the United States has become a public health epidemic. Adults who regularly interact with youth-such as coaches, mentors, counselors, trainers, and caregivers-can significantly influence youth perceptions and behaviors related to e-cigarette use, either positively or negatively.
Purpose: The study purpose was to examine the effectiveness of a nurse-led educational presentation among youth-serving adults about e-cigarette products and their negative health effects through knowledge assessment.

Diffusion MRI (dMRI) has become a crucial imaging technique in the field of neuroscience, with a growing number of clinical applications. Although most studies still focus on the brain, there is a growing interest in utilizing dMRI to investigate the healthy or injured spinal cord. The past decade has also seen the development of biophysical models that link MR-based diffusion measures to underlying microscopic tissue characteristics, which necessitates validation through ex vivo dMRI measurements.
