Article Abstract

The worldwide climate changes every year due to global warming, waterlogging, drought, salinity, pests, and pathogens, impeding crop productivity. is one of the most important oil crops in the world, and rapeseed oil is considered one of the most health-beneficial edible vegetable oils. Recently, miRNAs have been found and confirmed to control the expression of targets under disruptive environmental conditions. The mechanism is through the formation of the silencing complex that mediates post-transcriptional gene silencing, which pairs the target mRNA and target cleavage and/or translation inhibition. However, the functional role of miRNAs and targets in is still not clarified. This review focuses on the current knowledge of miRNAs concerning development regulation and biotic and abiotic stress responses in . Moreover, more strategies for miRNA manipulation in plants are discussed, along with future perspectives, and the enormous amount of transcriptome data available provides cues for miRNA functions in . Finally, the construction of the miRNA regulatory network can lead to the significant development of climate change-tolerant through miRNA manipulation.

Long non-coding RNA MALAT1 regulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and metastasis in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) through a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) mechanism involving miRNA modulation. This study aimed to elucidate the molecular pathway by which MALAT1 influences EMT and metastatic behavior via interaction with miR-200c-3p and SNAI2. MALAT1 expression was genetically manipulated in the EOC cell line SK-OV-3 by either overexpression or knockdown.

Leishmania donovani is an intracellular protozoan parasite that has successfully evolved to manipulate host macrophages. The exact mechanism by which Leishmania spp evades macrophage function is not fully understood. Recently, several studies have shown that pathogens target host-microRNA to alter cellular pathways for their persistence.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small noncoding RNAs that post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression, playing key roles in plant growth, development, and stress responses. Their regulatory functions make miRNAs ideal targets for enhancing crop yield, quality, and stress tolerance using biotechnologies, such as transgenic overexpression and CRISPR/Cas genome editing. By targeting multiple genes, miRNAs address complex agricultural challenges effectively.

Background: Endometrial injury (EI) is frequently associated with intrauterine adhesions, endometrial thinning, amenorrhea, and infertility. In recent years, stem cells and their exosomes have been shown to have significant tissue repair efficacy. However, the role and probable mechanism of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUMSC-Exo) in endometrial healing remains unclear.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are prevalent age-related diseases. While the gut-liver-brain axis is recognized, the molecular links between liver dysfunction and neurodegeneration in AD and HCC remain unclear. This study investigated shared dysregulated genes and pathways in AD and HCC, focusing on the liver-brain axis and potential therapeutic targets.
