Musculoskeletal disorders, including bone fractures, osteoarthritis, and muscle injuries, represent a leading cause of global disability, revealing the urgency for advanced therapeutic solutions. However, current therapies face limitations including donor-site morbidity, immune rejection, and inadequate mimicry of dynamic tissue repair processes. DNA-based hydrogels emerge as transformative platforms for musculoskeletal reconstruction, with their sequence programmability, dynamic adaptability, and biocompatibility to balance structural support and biological functions.

Significance: Tumor tissues exhibit contrast with healthy tissue in circular degree of polarization (DOP) images via higher magnitude circular DOP values and increased helicity-flipping. This phenomenon may enable polarimetric tumor detection and surgical/procedural guidance applications.
Aim: Depolarization metrics have been shown to exhibit differential responses to healthy and cancer tissue, whereby tumor tissues tend to induce less depolarization; however, the understanding of this depolarization-based contrast remains limited.

Introduction: Individual-level patient data (IPD) are helpful for designing clinical trials, conducting meta-analyses, or methodology research. However, such patient level data are not readily available. Multiple methods have been developed for reconstructing survival data using published Kaplan-Meier (KM) survival curves.

Physical activity (PA) is a cornerstone of both disease prevention and long-term condition management, yet it remains absent from many treatment plans, particularly in primary care. Despite clinicians recognising the value of PA, systemic barriers such as time constraints and limited training hinder its integration into everyday consultations. For this reason, there has been a call for further resources to improve clinician confidence in initiating these conversations.

Objective: This study aims to develop an Italian version of the Support and Control in Birth (SCIB) and to test its reliability and validity.
Methods: The sample included 414 post-partum women, who were recruited 24/48 h after giving birth. A study-specific online questionnaire was designed to collect sociodemographic information and administer the translated Italian version of the SCIB.
