•EEA represents an ideal approach for loco-regional recurrent CCs.•EEA is well tolerated, with preservation of patients QoL.•EEA can be considered for patients with perspectives of adjuvant therapies.•Otherwise, EEA can be considered only in selected cases with a palliative aim.

Aim Of The Study: The aim of the study is to describe clinical features, treatment approach and outcomes of recurrent/metastatic (R/M) NPC in non-endemic areas MATERIALS AND METHODS: This observational, retrospective and multicenter study was conducted within 36 referral hospital in non-endemic areas including Europe, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey and United States of America. All NPC patients diagnosed between 2004 and 2016 and with a minimum 12 months of follow-up were included. Data entry started in January 2018 and closed in December 2023.

Aim: To critically review the emerging evidence from two randomised trials-KEYNOTE-689 and NIVOPOSTOP-on perioperative immune checkpoint inhibition in resectable, locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and to elucidate how these positive results may redefine the current and future treatment paradigms.
Methods: We conducted a narrative review comparing the design, patient populations, treatment protocols, and outcomes of KEYNOTE-689 and NIVOPOSTOP. Data sources included ClinicalTrials.

Purpose: Accurate patient positioning is crucial for precise radiation therapy dose delivery, as errors in positioning can profoundly influence treatment outcomes. This study introduces a novel application for loco-regional tissue deformation tracking via Cherenkov image analysis during fractionated breast cancer radiation therapy. The primary objective of this research was to develop and test an algorithmic method for Cherenkov-based position accuracy quantification, particularly for loco-regional deformations, which do not have an ideal method for quantification during radiation therapy.

Background/objectives: Neoadjuvant radiochemotherapy and perioperative chemotherapy are both well-established treatment strategies for locally advanced adenocarcinoma of the esophagus (EAC) and the esophagogastric junction (AEGJ). However, recent knowledge controversially discusses whether neoadjuvant radiotherapy or perioperative chemotherapy represents superior therapeutic options to prolong survival or cause less toxicity.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 76 patients with locally advanced EAC or AEGJ treated at our tertiary cancer center between January 2015 and March 2023.

Background: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) is the standard practice in locally advanced breast cancer cases and in some biological subtypes. There is still no consensus on whether breast-conserving surgery or mastectomy should be performed after NAC and there is no certain point about how the axilla should be approached. These problems stem from concerns about survival.
