Background: Hemodynamic forces exert a profound influence on endothelial signaling and, when abnormal, contribute centrally to human vascular disease. Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is characterized by both hemodynamic derangement and pulmonary arterial endothelial cell (PAEC) dysfunction. Despite importance in disease initiation and progression, the combined effects of shear and pressure forces on PAEC biology remain incompletely understood, particularly in the context of PAH.

Introduction: The optimal surgical technique for chronic ankle instability remains disputable. This study had two main questions: the effect of additional medial collateral ligament (MCL) stabilisation in ankle instability and comparison of open and arthroscopic surgical techniques for lateral ligament repair.
Materials And Methods: We used 10 fresh-frozen cadaver feet (Science Care, Phoenix, AZ, USA) per group.

When treating rectal prolapse, traditionally perineal procedures are recommended for elderly patients, while abdominal approaches are usually preferred in healthier and younger ones. We hypothesize that octogenarian patients can be safely treated with abdominal approaches. Our study aimed to evaluate the safety of abdominal procedures in the treatment of rectal prolapsed and to evaluate the recurrence rate.

Purpose: Rectal prolapse is a known sequela in adults with anorectal malformations (ARMs), presenting unique surgical challenges due to altered pelvic anatomy, prior reconstructions, and compromised bowel function. This study aimed to evaluate the suitability of conventional rectal prolapse repair techniques for this population and to present our institutional outcomes.
Methods: A literature review was conducted to identify standard rectal prolapse repair procedures in adults.
