Background: The difficulty in providing optimal treatment has been related to patients' fear of the discomfort that comes with anesthetic needle insertion. The main purpose of this study is to clinically assess the effect of needle bevel on patient's perception of pain during inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) anesthesia and evaluate the needle tip for mechanical deformation.
Materials And Methods: Sixty-six children 5-7 years old, who were indicated for IANB anesthesia, were selected from the outpatient clinic of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University.

Background and objective Appendicitis is a common cause of acute abdominal pain and a frequent indication for emergency abdominal surgery. Laparoscopic appendectomy has become the preferred surgical treatment due to its many advantages over open appendectomy, including reduced morbidity, shorter hospital stay, and faster recovery. A critical step in laparoscopic appendectomy is the secure closure of the appendix stump to prevent postoperative complications.

To explore the application value of right-opening single flap valvuloplasty based on tubular stomach in gastrointestinal reconstruction after laparoscopic proximal gastrectomy. Use a linear cutting stapler to make a parallel curve from the angle of the stomach to the junction of the gastric fundus to remove the lesser curvature of the stomach, and detach the gastric body about 5 cm away from the tumor to create a tubular stomach.
