This study aims to investigate the formation of tourists' behavioral intentions in the context of City Walk experiences in Malaysia from an embodiment perspective. Guided by Cognitive Appraisal Theory, a quantitative research design was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). A total of 408 Chinese tourists were selected through purposive sampling and participated via both face-to-face and online surveys, given that China remains Malaysia's largest and continuously growing source of international tourists.

Based on the concept of urban vitality and the unique geographical location of border areas, an evaluation framework for urban vitality in border areas was constructed from four dimensions: economy, society, openness, and culture. The entropy weight method was used to calculate the urban vitality levels of 45 border cities in 2000, 2010, 2019, and 2022, and the influencing factors were quantitatively analyzed. In the era of digital intelligence, digital media landscapes increasingly influence cultural tourism consumption. Consumerism capitalizes on tourists' superficial aesthetic commonalities, constructing a homogenized media imagination that leads to collective convergence in travel decisions, which obscures aspects of local culture, poses safety risks, and results in fleeting local tourism booms. The real estate business on sandy coasts and coastal dunes has increased dramatically over the last decades because of the growing demands for leisure activities which, consequently, have yielded important economic gains. Such ravaging exploitation results in the replacement of sandy ecosystems with tourism-oriented settlements, infrastructure, and facilities. As the sandy beaches and coastal dunes become deteriorated or eliminated, their protective role is lost, and the hydrometeorological risks to which the increasing human coastal populations are exposed grow, especially in a climate change scenario with increasing storminess.

This paper investigates the characteristics of seasonality in the tourism industry. The Gegenbauer long memory and seasonal features are clearly clarified in Denmark's tourism data. By plotting ACF and periodogram graphs, the pattern of long memory is investigated.
