Background: Anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) delivered from implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) provides critically timed pacing pulses to terminate ventricular tachycardia (VT). Physiological pacing through left bundle branch area (LBBA) pacing has emerged as a clinically relevant alternative to induce synchronous activation of the ventricles. The main objective of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of ATP delivered to an LBBA lead and a conventional RV lead.

Background And Purpose: Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) is a promising and noninvasive treatment for medication-refractory essential tremor (ET). However, the mechanism of long-term postoperative brain structural remodeling remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the changes in gray matter volume (GMV) before and after MRgFUS, as well as to explore the relationship between GMV changes and tremor control.

LBBB prevalence varies with age, gender, race, and underlying cardiovascular conditions. It affects 0.

Conduction system hamartoma (CSH) is a rare cardiac lesion characterized by the abnormal proliferation of Purkinje-like myocytes. It predominantly affects female infants and is often associated with sudden cardiac death. Recent studies have linked mitochondrial dysfunction, particularly complex I deficiency, with CSH.

Background: In structurally normal hearts, premature ventricular complexes (PVCs) are primarily driven by enhanced automaticity or afterdepolarization-dependent triggered activity. Traditionally, re-entrant excitation has only been associated with cardiac conditions involving scar formation, such as post-myocardial infarction or cardiac sarcoidosis.
Case Summary: We present a case of an asymptomatic 28-year-old patient with a high burden of monomorphic PVCs originating near the posteromedial papillary muscle.
