Text mining of the biomedical literature enables vast quantities of information to be extracted and summarised. Here we describe an updated and improved version of previous methodology for the analysis of gene and protein biomarkers that enables the use of the newer Pubtator Central annotations, based in full text, improving the performance using a local SQLite database, that reduces the running time and resources required to perform the analyses facilitating its use in any computer, and expands its capabilities to enable the retrieval and analysis of chemical and metabolic biomarkers.

Background: Several real-world cohorts and numerous case reports investigating benralizumab outcomes in eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis have been published. These studies complement the limited clinical trial data available by providing early insights on benralizumab use in a broader, real-world population.
Objective: The objective of this systematic literature review (SLR) was to provide an overview of the real-world outcomes of benralizumab in EGPA.

Objective: Cinnamon-induced contact stomatitis (CCS) is a hypersensitivity reaction associated with cinnamon-containing products (CCPs). We performed a retrospective study of 74 cases of CCS induced by chewing gums or candies and reviewed the literature.
Materials And Methods: This is a retrospective study of CCS cases, diagnosed during 2010-2025, characterised by temporal association of lesions with the consumption of cinnamon-containing chewing gums or candies; lesion's resolution after discontinuation of those CCPs; and absence of recurrence as long as those CCPs were not re-used.

Background: An accurate understanding of protein requirements helps prevent health risks caused by deficiency. No statistical comparison exists between the nitrogen balance (NB) method, the standard method for estimating protein requirements, and the indicator amino acid oxidation (IAAO) method, which has been increasingly studied.
Objective: To quantitatively compare the protein requirements of the NB and IAAO methods through meta-analyses.

Purpose: Urinary toxicity following radical prostatectomy (RP) and postoperative radiotherapy (RT) includes urinary incontinence and vesicourethral anastomosis (VUA) strictures. With the increasing use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), dose-escalation, and reirradiation within the prostate bed (PB), standardization of the definition of urinary organs at risk (OARs) in the post-RP setting is needed. This works aims to provide a comprehensive review of the anatomical and physiopathological changes occurring after RP, as well as to provide a consensus on urinary OARs delineation for prostate cancer (PCa) EBRT in the post-RP setting.

Human activities contribute to large shifts in the global climate, with far-reaching impacts on ecosystems, societies, and human health. Modern food systems-designed to produce convenience foods that tend to have high inflammatory potential-exacerbate environmental degradation and shape the interwoven challenges of climate, nutrition, and health. Over the past three decades, extreme weather has worsened and poor diets have led to more inflammation-related health problems-two parallel trends that are exposing system-wide weaknesses and harming global health.
